Champagne being poured into flutes

Raise your hand if an open bar is your favorite part of a wedding reception. (Wave ’em high, don’t be shy!) Unfortunately, the bar is also a major source of waste at weddings and events.

I shared three of my favorite green tips for serving alcohol with WeddingDay Magazine. With smart recycling and the right containers from your local brewery, you can enjoy your night with a glass in hand and know you did your part to reduce waste!

Hi those are great tips! I was lucky, because my catering company actually took care of the recycling for us; I’m not sure how common that is, but it was sure convenient!

That’s great! It can vary from caterer to caterer and even from situation to situation (i.e. a caterer may recycle in one setting but not another), so I’m glad it worked out for your event!
